Setting new standards in energy efficieny and curing quality

New KBA-MetalPrint IBO BeltStar with Open House participants

Technical representatives of Ball Europe, Can Pack and United Can Kuwait had the chance to check the quality and the new design of the KBA-MetalPrint equipment in detail. In customized presentations the participants learned about the technology and were discussing with Peter Kurz, the product manager for the 2-piece business at KBA-MetalPrint, the technical advantages and especially the enormous saving potentials of the ovens. As a further highlight Dietmar Decker, sales director of the air purification department, introduced the new »GreenBoiler« technology KBA-MetalPrint offered to the 2-piece market in order to reduce overall energy costs.

KBA-MetalPrint as system supplier offers the opportunity to save more than 500 kWh per line with the fully integrated heat recovery system. This system turns the energy of the hot, but dirty exhaust air with its solvent content into usable energy for the washers. This is realized with an integrated oxidizer RTO and a 2-stage heat recovery system and therefore, beside the heat recovery, the exhaust air is purified according to the strongest German regulations. The ROI of this investment is about 3 years and after that period the benefit is on the customer. Beside the heat recovery also the CO2 footprint of the can production is reduced. “Make Profit with CleanAir” - a package which leaves no doubts.

 

KBA-MetalPrint new energy efficient pin oven PinStar

KBA MetalPrint proudly announces, that during the Open House another order for one IBO BeltStar and one pin oven PinStar was placed by United Beverage Kuwait and the contract could signed by Mr. Ramez Farag and the CEO of KBA-MetalPrint, Mr. Ralf Gumbel.

 

The expectations of the visitors were completely satisfied. “To see the new pin oven design as well getting information about heat recovery systems“ Johannes Klassmann of Ball Europe said. “Many oven suppliers are not able to support customers or help in case of problems. Also regarding energy consumption there is no support available from other suppliers”. Kazimierz Maruszczak was impressed  of  the production site and he asked for the possibility to see an oven in operation, which is a good proposal for the next Open House. His statement “very professional prepared presentation and very skilled people” was clear. Ramez Farag from United Beverage Kuwait wanted “to see ovens and getting a feeling of new design and features”. After the presentation he said “I am confident of quality and after sales service of KBA-MetalPrint”.
